Pardon me for seeming to ask such a silly question but its been on my mind since I've come across this site. There are dozens upon dozens of different cat breeds. Some breeds are rarer than others as is with most animals.
I ask this because I've come across some warriors sites before where they do not allow rare breed cats to be played.
The breed in particular which I am asking about is the Savvanah[sp?] cat. Its usually only one or two generations removed from its true wild roots. This species is created when a house cat is crossed with the african wild cat the serval. First generations are of course 50 percent feral and second generations are 25 percent feral, assuming the 50 percent was bred with another house cat.
When fully grown they are about the size of a medium dog. Basically only a bit smaller than a lab.
Would a breed such as this be allowed if a good explination as to how it got here can be explained? Such as someone had one for a pet and it escaped because it wanted to return to its wild heritage?

I've got an aunt that owns a Savanah, as far as they go as cats - fifth or sixth generations (at the point that I believe that the male is sterile until a certain generation) they are of regular cat size.
As for roleplaying them here, it isn't my call, but seeing as it would be possible at the variety of cats to have a cat that looks like a savanah my guess is you can play one, but they wouldn't be "purebreed" anyway, all warriors cat have lived generation after generation after generation...unless you are talking kittypet or rouge?
I dunno, what do you think Aug?

I was speaking of a rogue for the most part. As in the animal was bred as a pet for a human but when it was old enough to take care of itself it escaped from its owner and high-tailed it out and away from the humans. Like a very loose version of what Rusty did.
If it was a second generation of first I doubt it would be accpeted into a clan unless they really needed the extra muscle it could provide I'm guessing. Still rogues can be fun to play^^

Yeah. Its fine. Its just my favorite breed of cat and I would really like to play as one. But I know they are rare so thats why I figured I should ask first was all before I made one.

It think it would be fine. I just don't want rampant amounts of rare cats running around.
