CORRUPT

Where StarClan once dwelt to guard and oversee Clan life, Corrupt now lives. For when the Clans tossed aside their code and their lifestyles, they cast away StarClan unknowingly. Their dead could no longer reach the welcoming paws of their ancestors, yet the dead had to go somewhere, and that somewhere is Corrupt. Corrupt is the new sky-dwelling generation, the cats that cannot touch their past. StarClan may still follow and attempt to reach their land-bound kin, but they have been pushed aside and find it hard to break through the mist that encircles them. They may reach through to their Clans at deeply urgent times, when their need is greatest ( such as at leader ceremonies or when dark danger arises ) and their wisdom is the only thing that can keep their kin alive, but they cannot be there to keep safe who they love at all times.

Even the medicine cat, the holder of wisdom and seeker of stars, cannot touch them directly. To those who live on the earth, they do not know of the switch of the stars, they only know that something still lives on in the skies. And these earth-bound cats can even reach Corrupt ( and rarely StarClan ) through their Stone Caves.

This may not make sense to you, for it surely is a hard topic to explain. But, it is basically this. StarClan has been pushed away from the Clans because the Clans have corrupted their ways, their lifesyle. Because of this, and because the cats that die must go somewhere, a new plain is dominated by Corrupt. These cats of the stars do not have the wisdom of their anscestors, and they cannot contact StarClan in any way. They are two seperate things, StarClan and Corrupt are.

Clans can contact Corrupt, they can even get dreams from them. But StarClan is harder to reach, only coming through when the need is so deep it penetrates a mist that circles StarClan.
