(Not a great place for her to be meeting another cat because they'd most likely have to be on a patrol or something, but Birchleg could have been lonely and followed her out or something XD Btw not going to be a great intro, because there's not a whole lot I can say. Sorry :<)
But not just that. She had gone out for a relaxing, refreshing walk throughout their territory, but also planned on checking atleast one border and bringing some prey back too. She did check the border, found nothing out of place, and padded up to the top of a hill, looking out over ShadowClan territory for a moment before looking up to the sky. For a while, she would sit here and take in the invigorating, cool breeze of the night and look up at the sky, where StarClan would show itself soon. It was getting darker, though it wasn't quite dusk yet. A few StarClan souls peeped out through the dark-ish blue and yellow-tinted sky, and she waited for more to show, lying on her side and looking up, barely lifting her head from the ground. As always, she stayed alert for any sounds or smells, and for a second, she thought she heard one from behind her, and she swivelled her head from the sky and perked her pointed ears forward. \After a moment, she decided to continue watching the sky, but kept her ears focused behind her, and tensed herself a little bit in case it was prey, or simply another cat.

B i r c h l e g She felt rather tranquil as she padded through the long swaying grass. The young warrior had been bored and had left the camp. It's not like she was slacking off. Birchleg made sure her duties were finished first. StarClan knows she'd never break the Warrior Code just to go on a walk. As she gently clawed her way up the gentle sloping hills of her home, she was suddenly aware of a gentle breeze tugging at her gray coat. Pausing to draw in the delicious scent of the air, she sighed in happiness. Her favorite place was on the moors, where she could always see her ancestors looking down on her. The warrior's blue eyes raised to the skies, which were steadily growing darker. They revealed a few of the spirits, and she wondered where Smallkit and Shadepaw were......perhaps not out yet. Or maybe among those few stars they were watching out for her. She smiled.
A new taste rode on the wind. Alert she drew in the scent. Ah, another WindClan cat. Nothing to worry about. She followed the smell for a few pawsteps and then nearly tread over the cat, lying in the grass as she was.
"Oh! I'm sorry. I didn't see you."

She twisted her ears back as a WindClan she-cat came up, maybe following her scent. But she didn't move. This was Birchleg. She knew her vaguely by scent, and knew she had enough sense to not step on her and fall or something. Softheart would have simply laughed anyway. The warrior turned a bright face up to the other warrior, sitting up in the process. "Oh it's fine," she purred, smiling the only way a cat can. "I would have laughed if you fell on me, but I knew you had more sense than that." She paused, looking back up at the sky, and more of StarClan wandering out into it. Why did they only appear at night? Well, because they were bright like that. You wouldn't usually see them during the day like that. But then why weren't they simply darker during the day, so their loyal Clans could always see them? She had a feeling that question would remain unanswered for a very long time. Softheart shrugged, and rapidly turned her attention back to Birchleg. "I'm sorry, got lost in thought." She purred briefly, then yawned. "What brought you here?"

B i r c h s t a r Relieved that the warrior wasn't upset at her, she merely grinned. Softheart was smiling and was now sitting up, but she was lost in thought. Birchstar didn't mind.
Instead she reflected on her time in the caves of StarClan. A shiver rushed down her spine, making it tingle in awe of her memories. It was the most painful and amazing expieriance of her life. Or lives. All nine of them. Energy surged through her slim paws as she reminesced over what had happened. Her father, mother, and both of her deceased siblings had given her four of her lives. Smallkit, who died from being the weakest out of her litter of four. According to the code, it was she who had to be killed. Smallkit gave her bravery. The thought of the moment forced her heart to wrench in grief. She missed her little sister dearly. Her brother Shadepaw was taken by sickness and gave her wisdom to care for herself so she could care for her clan. Her father; strength. Her mother; a queen's protection of her kits. The other five consisted of old friends and other members of what was now her clan.
"What brought you here?" Softheart's voice pulled her out of her own thoughts. Apparently the warrior had finished thinking. "I've come back from my journey to the caves. Refer to me as Birchstar now." Her words were prideful and were overflowing with happiness. "I was coming home to my clan." Birchstar paused for a moment. Her gray tail subtly twitching behind her. I could ask her the same thing. Her voice hardened. "Tell me Softheart, what are you doing out here, just lounging about? You can't honestly hope prey would just walk into your paws."
WindClan is under my rule now. It's high time that we start making a reputation of ourselves. She thought. And now it's my turn to lead this clan and make us the most feared in the forest. Even ShadowClan will think twice before attacking us.
